Hollow Lantern

Hollow Lantern leans on atmosphere, and it earns it. You wander a small foggy town, tap to examine things, and slowly piece together what happened there. There's no combat and no timers — it's about curiosity and reading the environment.

The puzzles are woven into the story rather than bolted on, so solving one usually unlocks a new bit of the mystery. The hand-drawn art and the low hum of the soundtrack set a tone I didn't want to leave. I finished it in two evenings and went back to find what I'd missed.

If you want something calm and a little melancholy for your phone, this is a lovely pick. Players who need constant action might find it too slow.
