Glyph Gardens

★★★★☆ 4.1 Editor rating

Glyph Gardens looks like a standard match puzzle at first, but it quickly throws in a rotation mechanic that changes how you plan each board. Instead of just swapping neighbours, you rotate small clusters, which opens up combos you'd never set up otherwise.

The difficulty ramps up at a sensible rate, and the hint system is there without being pushy. I appreciated that it doesn't lock you out after a few losses — you can keep trying a tricky board as long as you like.

It's a comfortable, brainy time-filler. The pastel garden theme is pleasant, and the later levels genuinely made me stop and think. Good one for puzzle fans who are tired of the usual formula.
